I currently accept many insurance plans, including those processed through lactation benefit networks. Coverage varies by plan, but many families qualify for little to no out-of-pocket cost for lactation consultations.

Before your appointment, I will verify your benefits whenever possible and explain any potential costs so there are no surprises.

If your insurance is not currently accepted, I also offer affordable self-pay options and can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement if your plan offers out-of-network benefits.

For families without insurance coverage or those who prefer to self-pay, the following services are available:

Initial Lactation Consultation

Includes:

• Comprehensive maternal and infant assessment

• Feeding observation

• Latch and positioning support

• Pumping assessment (if needed)

• Personalized feeding plan

• Written recommendations

• Follow-up resources

Follow-Up Consultation

Includes:

• Progress evaluation

• Updated feeding plan

• Ongoing education and support

Prenatal Breastfeeding Consultation

Includes:

• Breastfeeding preparation

• Newborn feeding expectations

• Pumping basics

• Partner education

• Questions and individualized planning

Telehealth Consultation

Virtual visits are available throughout Michigan for many breastfeeding concerns.

Payment is due at the time of service unless insurance billing arrangements have been made.

• Health Savings Account (HSA)

• Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
