Meet your lactation consultant

ABOUT ME

Hi I’m Stephanie, an LPN and IBCLC.

My journey into lactation consulting began with my own experiences as a mother.

When I had my first baby, I expected breastfeeding to come naturally. Instead, I found myself overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure if I was doing anything right. My baby wanted to nurse constantly, and I worried she wasn’t getting enough. I turned to the internet for answers in the middle of the night, feeling anxious and alone.

Later, when I became pregnant with twins, I felt more prepared—but reality brought new challenges. My babies arrived early and spent time in the NICU. I experienced exclusive pumping, rebuilding breastfeeding after separation, and the emotional weight of trying to do everything “right” while recovering physically and caring for newborns.

Those experiences shaped my purpose.

I became an IBCLC because I understand what it feels like to need support and not know where to turn. I wanted to be the kind of support I once needed—calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

Today, I combine my clinical background as an LPN (who has worked in obstetrics for 3 years as a floor nurse) with my personal experience as a mother to support families through every stage of their feeding journey.
